Senate in closed door meeting with Security Chiefs

The Nigerian Senate is currently in a closed door meeting with the nation’s Security Chiefs over worsening insecurity across the country.

The meeting began few minutes past 11 am with the Senate President giving a brief remark on the expected outcome.

The Senate President, Ahmed Lawan Began , by commending the armed forces for their efforts in defending the nation despite all odds

At the end of the meeting the Senate hopes to come up with workable solution to stabilize the economy and ensure peace is restored.

This will be the first time the newly appointed service chiefs will appear before the parliament after their confirmation
