Despite the efforts of the executive of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), led by Ali Modu Sheriff to restore peace in the party and to reposition it as the major opposition party in the country, former President Olusegun Obasanjo who was at a time, the Chairman of the party’s Board of Trustees said the boat of PDP has sunk.
Obasanjo made this known in Abeokuta during the celebration of the 40th Anniversary of hosting international cultural festival popularly known as ‘FESTAC 77’.
