The Taraba State Chairman of All Progressives Congress, Ibrahim El-Sudi says he is confident that the ongoing case at the supreme court against the party’s gubernatorial candidate, Mr Emmanuel Bwacha will not have effect on the party victory in 2023.
Speaking at the inauguration of the party’s governorship campaign council in Jalingo, Mr. El- Sudi said the party will not go into general election divided.
He assured that his zeal to serve and salvage the state would aid his victory against the ruling Peoples Democratic Party in 2023.
He called on the aggrieved party aspirants that lost out in the primaries to sheath their sword.
In the same vein, the party’s gubernatorial candidate, Senator Emmanuel Bwacha charged members to work as a team for the success of the party in the coming elections.
The lawmaker emphasised that APC members should avoid any act of disloyalty and selective politics by voting all APC candidates.
He urged aggrieved members to sheath their swords by allowing peace to reign and join hands to ensure APC victories at all the elections.
He assured that both the in-coming state and Federal governments have enough opportunities for all, warning them against move that could eventually launch the state into more horrifying and intolerable years of hardship.
El-Sudi was elected in October as the substantive chairman of the party to lead thirty five other state executive members.
Leader of the party in the state Senator Yusuf Abubakar Yusuf said that the party had resolved to go with affirmation rather than the tedious election process with the consent of all critical stakeholders of the party.
