Ahead of the inauguration of the remodeled Lekan Salami Sports Complex, Adamasingba in Ibadan, Governor of Oyo state Seyi Makinde has received Former Vice President Abubakar Atiku and other chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The former Vice President of Nigeria, who was accompanied by some PDP chieftains arrived at the governor’s office, State Secretariat, Agodi, Ibadan.
Although the PDP chieftains are in the state to witness the inauguration of the newly revamped Adamsasingba stadium in the state’s capital, but hopes are high that the political leaders might meet to discuss issues relating to the political party.
The People’s Democratic Party has recently been experiencing some crisis relating to the party’s leadership.
Part of the entourage are Abiodun Olujimi, representing Ekiti South Senatorial District at the house of representatives and former senator (Kogi West), Dino Melaye.
