He said when an election is contested against an incumbent but in a failed system and the blame goes to the incumbent, it means the incumbency will no longer be at advantage.
Mr Ardo said things have deteriorated since the coming of PDP and the APC and PDP back into the state, things have not really worked.
“The economy has collapse, security has collapsed, exchange rate at the national level has collapsed, there is high cost of living and low level of earning and people have generally revolted.
“We are winning the election in Adamawa state, because people have been persuaded to our candidacy, we have the structure and we are also determined to mobilise on election day.
“Again, the BVAS system of election which has virtually removed all man-made rigging schemes which are multiple voting, vote allocation, free changing of result, and irregular voting.
“Those of us who are contesting against these other parties have the advantage because the election is going to return like a referendum on the performance of the incumbent and they cannot pass the test,” He said.
Speaking on his forth attempt at becoming the governor of the state, Mr Ardo said he is running because the issues to bring development to the state still remains.
Highlighting some of the reasons, the SDP candidate said “he is contesting to conquer poverty in the state which has become endemic, hunger, illiteracy, diseases, infrastructure deficit and low level of ethics in the society which includes stealing of public funds and the likes.
He said these issues will continue to remain unless something is done about it.
He added that he has always advocated good governance hence part of the reason why he is also contesting.
