Scores of protesters from nine communities in Ilaje local government area of Ondo state have protested over neglect of their communities.
Armed with placards with various inscriptions, the angry protesters alleged that the oil giant, Chevron has abandoned them for many years.

They invaded Awoeye where chevron facility is located, chanting solidarity songs.
They said the protest would continue until their demands are met.
