A second republic governor of the old Kaduna State, Balarabe Musa has distanced himself and his party, Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) from the local government suit filed in Ondo state.
Musa who is the national chairman of PRP addressed reporters in Akure, the Ondo state capital.
He said the party’s hierarchy did not instruct any lawyer to institute a case on behalf of the party.
He noted that such conduct should not be allowed to go unpunished.
In the same vein the Peoples Democratic Party in the state has condemned the action of PRP and its counsel for being involved in legal tussle after participating in council elections conducted last year.
The party’s state Deputy chairman, said the lawyer is sponsored by some politicians to discredit the council polls.
