The Kaduna State Government has reiterated that the ban on the use of motorcycles in the state and other security containment measures earlier adopted remain in place until further notice.
The State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Mr. Samuel Aruwan, who made the statement on Tuesday, also stated that the following measures will stay in effect throughout the state.
These include, the ban on wielding dangerous weapons and restriction on the movement of tricycles from dusk till dawn, that is from 7pm to 6am in Birnin Gwari, Giwa, Igabi, Chikun, Kachia, Kagarko and Kajuru Local Councils.
The Commissioner added that the Kaduna Government empathises with citizens over difficulties engendered by these measures.
However, it implored residents to fully comply with them in the larger interest of overall security.
