The Ekiti State Government has Launched the State Ambulance Service with Four Focal ambulances to be Stationed within the three Senatorial Districts,this is in addition to the already existing fleets of over 15 ambulances available across all State Hospital
Governor Fayemi while presenting the ambulances for use says the service create an opportunity to expand the Workforce in Ekiti State through the recruitment of healthcare workers who will be specifically trained in basic and advanced life support to deliver excellent service
The System architecture for this service is designed to promptly respond to emergency calls, dispatch an ambulance team from the nearest bay, safely transport patients to the nearest General/State Specialist Hospital whilst collecting and storing data for quality assurance purposes and medical audit
