The Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom has vowed to resist any form of rigging or manipulation in Saturday’s Abuja territory elections.
Governor Ortom who is also the chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP campaign council for the said election made this known at the Benue Governor’s lodge in Abuja when he played host to critical stakeholders to finalize preparation.
Last minute preparation for Saturday’s Abuja territory elections necessitated this gathering of critical stakeholders of the country’s main opposition party at the instance of the campaign council Chairman.
He quickly goes into the business of the day by setting the tone for the closed door session.
According to him the ruling party has made their job pretty simple by its abysmal performance.
The meeting was attended by Governor’s of Benue ,Oyo, Bauchi and Rivers State as well as Senators, former Governor’s, former Senators and other party leaders.
