The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Zamfara State Command has assured of it’s readiness to work with other agencies especially the Nigerian Hunters Council in the fight against vandals and criminal elements in the state
The Corps which is saddled with diverse responsibilities is poised to ensure that the insecurity challenges bedeviling the state and the country at large becomes a thing of the past
The Commandant of the Corps Athanasius Sparks stated this when he received the Leadership of the Nigerian Hunters Council, Zamfara on a courtesy visit at the command headquarters Gusau
In a press statement signed by the Command public relations officer Ikor Oche says the Commabdant enjoin the Nigeria Hunters Council to assist the Corps in the provision of intelligence, useful and timely information in it’s quest to fight insecurity , criminality and activities of vandals across the state
Mr. Sparks adds that Agro Rangers unit of the NSCDC is ever ready to work in total collaboration with the hunters groups in all the fourteen local Councils to achieve the desired goal
Earlier in his address, the State Commander of the Nigeria Hunter’s Council Suleiman Lawali Zurmi Commended the efforts of the Civil Defence Corps in the fight against criminals and Vandals in Zamfara
The feet the NSCDC has achieved under the leadership of Commandant Athanasius Sparks according to him is highly commendable
Suleiman Zurmi further assures that the hunters council is ever ready and willing to partner with the corps in the fight against vandals and other Security issues.
