The Nigeria Football Federation says it is monitoring the security situation in South Africa and Libya ahead of the 2019 African Nations Cup qualifying series.
Both countries are the Super Eagles’ opponents in Group E of the qualifiers.
But the recent xenophobic attacks on foreigners in South Africa and the series of terrorist activities in Libya have raised concerns on the security in the two countries.
NFF Media Deputy Director, Ademola Olajire assured that the federation would not compromise the security of players and fans.
He added that the body would involve the necessary agencies when preparing for the away ties.
