The Nigerian Army has released 593 people after clearing them of having ties with terror group, Boko Haram sect.They were arrested at different locations and held for varying lengths of time.
Head of the Joint Investigation Centre, Brigadier General Abddulraham Kuliya said based on the orders of the chief of army Staff, any suspect cleared and not involved in Boko Haram activities will be set free after undergoing a de-radicalization process.
Those released include elderly men, women and children.
