Governor Darius Ishaku of Taraba and his Adamawa State counterpart, Umaru Ahmadu Fintiri have called on the military authority to stick to their professional calling by providing enabling environment for 2023 general election.
The two governors who spoke at this year Armed forces remembrance day in Jalingo and Yola commended the security personnel fighting insecurity challenges across the country.
They believe that much has been achieved in the Northeast region in the fight against Boko Haram, banditry and kidnappings.
The Governors however urged Nigerians to continue to pray and support the country as well as widows of the fallen heroes who sacrificed their lives for the nation.
The Brigade Commander 23 Brigade Command disclosed that the Nation’s forces work hand-in-hand in making sure that security challenges in the country come to an end soon.
