The procession began at the Old Garage and proceeded through Stadium Road to the Ondo State Sports Complex, hours after they returned from their away game against FC Robo.
During the parade, players and officials wearing a customised black t-shirt with a Janded image were plainly in a somber mood and could not hold back tears.
At the main bowl of the stadium, where the exercise concluded, a minute of silence was observed in her honor before prayers were offered for her family, Sunshine Queens and Sunshine Stars.
Sunshine Queens Team Manager, Kehinde Odogun, who spoke on behalf of the management, consoled the players and others, urging them to be strong and closer to God.
