The Senate Committee has summoned the Minister of Sports, Solomon Dalung over Nigeria’s failure to participate at the ongoing African Junior Table Tennis Championship in Tunisia.
The Championship is the qualifier for the World Championship and the World Youth Olympic Games next year.
And Chairman of the Senate Committee on Sport, Obinna Ogba says missing out on the championship means Nigeria will not go for next year’s Youth Olympic Games.
Ogba reveals the minister will also explain the reason behind the continuous postponement of the National Sports Festival.

The National Sports Festival was last held in Lagos five years ago.
