The identities of the victims are yet to be ascertained.
It was gathered that the accident involved a trailer and a Marcopollo bus.
Eyewitnesses said that the accident was caused by one way driving by the trailer.
“The trailer passed through one way and in the process collided with the Marcopollo bus which is coming Benin road.
The bus caught fire in the process.
The Federal Road Safety Corps, Unit Commander in Ore, Mr Sikiru Alonge confirmed the news to our correspondent via phone call.

It was a carnival-like event, as members of the party from the six local government areas in the zone, stormed the venue to be part of the rally.
The campaign, which took place at the Methodist Primary School, Okitipupa, was attended by a huge crowd of party supporters and members.
The State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu was received at the venue by party members, amid pomp and ceremony.
Speaking on the rally, the state Chairman of APC, Ade Adetimehin said the party remains formidable ahead of the 2023 elections.
Adetimehin said the rally has again demonstrated that the APC is the party to beat in the state.
The APC spokesperson in the State, Alex Kalejaiye said the party is approaching the election with a united front.
The APC appears poised to winning the elections in the state.
11 persons burnt to death in Ondo Road accident
A fatal motor accident has occurred at Soka Bridge in Ore, the headquarters of Odigbo Local Government Area leaving eleven persons burnt to death.
The identities of the victims are yet to be ascertained.
It was gathered that the accident involved a trailer and a Marcopollo bus.
Eyewitnesses said that the accident was caused by one way driving by the trailer.
“The trailer passed through one way and in the process collided with the Marcopollo bus which is coming Benin road.
The bus caught fire in the process.
The Federal Road Safety Corps, Unit Commander in Ore, Mr Sikiru Alonge confirmed the news to our correspondent via phone call.
He said the incident caused traffic congestion along the route and all the eleven persons were burnt beyond recognition.
“The Fire has been extinguished, while the traffic is being controlled on the Benin/Lagos Lane.
“Efforts are on top gear with other security agencies to remove crashed vehicles from the road”, Alonge said.
He, however, urged motorists to always obey all traffic rules to avert further tragedy.
AREWA YOUTH CALL FOR SACK OF EMEFIELE AS CBN GOVERNOR OVER CURRENCY SWAP CHAOS
Arewa Youth for Development and National Unity has called for immediate sack of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Godwin Emefiele over the Naira redesign policy.
According to them, Mr Emefiele’s insistence on the 31st January deadline for old Naira notes, has shown that he is a saboteur of the President Muhammadu’s government.
The group stated this while addressed pressmen at the Arewa house in Kaduna on Saturday.
Reactions have continued to trail the CBN Governor Naira design policy and his insistence on the 31 January deadline for the expiration of old Naira notes.
The latest from Northern Nigeria comes from the Arewa Youth for Development and National Unity who are now demanding for Me Emefiele’s immediate sack.
The group accuse the Central Bank Governor of politicizing the Naira redesign policy and working for opposition political parties at the detriment of the ruling government and Nigerian masses.
The haste and intransigence of Emefiele to stick to January 31st deadline, also comes under scrutiny.
They are concerned that, a large population of Nigerians, particularly in rural areas in the north will be broken by the policy which they consider harsh, unrealistic and unworkable.
They also frown at , Emefiele disregard for calls including the National Assembly and other elders to relax the deadline.
They say up till this weekend, most commercial banks are still dispensing the old notes, confirming their apprehension that the deadline is not feasible.
The group also laments difficulty faced by citizen in accessing the new currency notes.
They insist that unless sacked Mr. Emefiele’s policy has the capacity to bury the nation and subject more Nigerian to undue hardship.
