Leaders of the All progressives congress in the ikorodu area of Lagos state have held a rally to canvass votes for the Presidential Candidate of the party as well as candidates seeking election to the national and state house assembly.
This is the first rally of the APC in Ikorodu constituency 2.
Leaders say Ikorodu has experienced massive development under the APC administration in the state hence the need to vote continuity. The urged residents to ensure they pick their Permanent Voter cards and make a statement with their votes during the polls.

Reactions have continued to trail the All Progressives Congress, APC rally in Ondo South Senatorial District, organised to galvanise more support for the party’s candidates in the coming elections.
The State Chairman of the party, Ade Adetimehin said Ondo South remains the party’s stronghold in the state.
Ondo South Senatorial District came alive, when the All Progressives Congress, APC staged its rally in Okitipupa local government area of Ondo State.
It was a carnival-like event, as members of the party from the six local government areas in the zone, stormed the venue to be part of the rally.
The campaign, which took place at the Methodist Primary School, Okitipupa, was attended by a huge crowd of party supporters and members.
The State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu was received at the venue by party members, amid pomp and ceremony.
Speaking on the rally, the state Chairman of APC, Ade Adetimehin said the party remains formidable ahead of the 2023 elections.
Adetimehin said the rally has again demonstrated that the APC is the party to beat in the state.
The APC spokesperson in the State, Alex Kalejaiye said the party is approaching the election with a united front.
The APC appears poised to winning the elections in the state.

People from every tribe and ethnicity are coming out to openly pitch their tend with the former Lagos state governor.
Now in Lagos, Ndigbo in the All Progressives Congress, in their numbers stormed the party secretariat, in support of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
The crowd, comprising APC members of Igbo extraction converged chanting solidarity songs for bola Tinubu and Sanwo-Olu in a carnival like event.
The group is made up of Ndigbo from the 20 Local Government Areas, and the 37 Local Council Development Areas, of the state.
The director, ethnic directorate, Lagos APC campaign council, Fatai Ayoola said the initiative is a welcome development, adding that bola Tinubu remains the candidate to beat in the coming presidential election.
APC ADVISES OBASANJO TO ENJOY RETIREMENT, STOP HEATING UP POLITY
The All Progressives Congresss has advised former President, Olusegun Obasanjo to enjoy his retirement rather than heat up the polity.
The state commissioner for Information, Gbenga Omotoso said the recent commissioning of landmark projects in the state by President Muhammadu Buhari is a testimony to the solid foundation laid by the Presidential flag bearer of the All Progressive Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the success story of Governor Sanwoolu.
The Chairman of the APC – PCC Lagos Media and Publicity Committee, Kehinde Bamgbetan expressed gratitude to the various committees and showcased the Scorecard of Tinubu in all sectors when he served as governor of Lagos.
According to him, Tinubu remains a sellable product despite several moves by the opposition to run him down.
