The Executive Vice chairman and Chief Executive of the National Agency for Science and Engineering infrastructure, Professor Mohammed Sani Haruna has been given the public service award at the just concluded 2022 Sun Awards.
This is in recognition of his works at ensuring the nation achieves home initiated and home sustained industrialization for Nigeria.
Dignitaries from all works of life who have distinguished themselves in diverse fields of endeavors gathered for the event.
Among notable figures who received the award is the Executive Vice chairman and chief executive of the National Agency for Science and Engineering and infrastructure, Professor Muhammad Sani Haruna.
Speaking at the event, Managing Director/Editor in Chief, Onuoha Ukeh said events have shown that many Nigerians in the diaspora are at the top of their careers and dominate their Industries . In these places, they are also forces to be reckoned with, well respected and sought after because of their invaluable
contributions to the society.
The Executive Vice Chairman of NASENI, Muhmmad Sani who dedicated the award to his family, management staff and all well wishers that are making things happen in Nigeria said it is a challenge for everyone to do more.
Former governor of Ogun state, Olusegun Osoba in his remarks took out time to highlight the role of the media in sustaining democracy in the country.
While highlighting his support for the BVAS, he called on INEC to reflect the wishes of Nigerians by letting the votes count.
According to him, the bimodal system being introduced into the country is very important.
While thanking the president for giving him the opportunity to make an impact, the chief executive of NASENI believes this will spur him and his team to do more for the country.
