The SON team on enforcement stormed the warehouse located at Oke-Afa area of LagosState, following a tip off.
The agency’s director in charge of Compliance, Bede Obayi, who led the team, explained that the tyres were equally stuffed in one another.
He also observed that the confiscated tyres have their DOT that is, Department of Transportation tempered with, warning that the agency would not tolerate such malpractices by unscrupulous importers and tyre vendors who deceive end-users and buyers
