Christian pilgrimage is an opportunity for Christians (Pilgrims) to leave their comfort zone and encounter God in places where He has revealed Himself.
It also entails visiting locations associated with Christ’s life, times, and teachings, particularly his birth, passion, death, and resurrection.
It is an opportunity for quiet introspection and spiritual rebirth for Christians, who are expected to return as more dedicated practitioners of the Christian Faith.
