A federal high Court in Abuja has granted bail to former Accountant General of the federation, Ahmed Idris.
The terms for the bail condition are same as those that were enforced during the administrative bail the defendant by the EFCC
The court, however, added that the defendant should by no means procure alternate Passport.
Delivering ruling on the bail application, Justice Adeyemi Ajayi said irrespective of the allegations leveled against the defendant, he is innocent until proven guilty.
She noted that bail is a constitutional right, which the court exercises discretion over.
