A lawyer, Isola Fapounda, has joined the governorship race in Ekiti State on the platform
of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
A native of Okemesi Ekiti, he was a Special Assistant to former Governor Kayode Fayemi on Private Public Partnership (PPP). He is a former House of Assembly aspirant in Ekiti West Constituency.
Fapounda is one of the young aspirants in the race. He will face no fewer than 50 contenders during the primary. They include Hon. Bimbo Daramola, Kayode Ojo, Muyiwa Olumilua, Segun Oni, Yemi Adaramodu, Femi Bamishile, Olajide Akinyemi, Ayo Arise, Bamidele Faparusi, Funminiyi Afuye, Babafemi Ojudu, Opeyemi Bamidele and Gbenga Aluko. Other aspirants are Oluyede Oluwole, Yinka Akerele, Olumuyiwa Coker, and Dele Okeya.
