A group of youths under the aegis of Akoko concerned youths have staged a peaceful rally to condemn the neglect of Akoko areas of Ondo state by prominent indigenes of the area .
Four local councils in Akoko region of the state have been experiencing blackout of electricity in the last two years.
The youths who went round some communities in Akokoland, said it is sad that many prominent indigenes of Akokoland have failed to offset the bill being owed Benin Owena Electricity Distribution Company by the four councils.
The leader of the group, Ademola Adedotun, described the neglect of the affected communities as height of irresponsibility.
He called on community leaders and politicans from the area to rise up to their responsibilities.
