The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC ) has passed a vote of no confidence on its Chairman Comrade Abdullahi Adeka over his anti – union activities.
Spokesperson of the union Yusulf Iya disclosed this to journalists on Thursday after the union’s State Executive Council meeting, he said the decision was a collective decision of the SEC.
He explained that, since the Adeka-led EXCOS came on board two years ago, it has not been able to get government to implement any of its resolutions.
Meanwhile the union now has a new Chairman he is Comrade Bala Umaru of the Non Academic Staff Union (NASU).
