Anambra State House of Assembly has passed a resolution calling on the Independent National Electoral
Commission (INEC) to conduct the state Central Senatorial District rerun election without further delay.
In the unanimous resolution which emanated from a motion moved by the member representing Onitsha North I Constituency, Chigbo Enwezor, and seconded by Obinna Emenaka, member representing Anambra East Constituency, the House said the immediate conduct of the election has become necessary to give the people of the zone a voice in the Senate.
