Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike has said only the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) can pull the country out of the crisis the All Progressives Congress (APC) has allegedly plunged it into.
The governor said he supported the Senator Ahmed Makarfi-led National Caretaker Committee of the party’s factions.
He said the committee would take the party to greater heights.

Wike spoke in Port Harcourt, the state capital, after the premiere of the stage adaptation of Elechi Amadi’s Concubine by Imo Edward on Tuesday night.
He said: “The PDP is the only political party that can bring Nigeria out of its quagmire.”
