Chairperson of the African Union Commission, Moussa Faki Mahamat, concluded his two day visit to South Sudan where he travelled to Ganyiel, in Unity, to assess the scale of the humanitarian challenges in that part of the country.
The AU chief was accompanied by the Deputy Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General, Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator, and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Resident Representative to South Sudan Eugene Owusu.
