English League One side Coventry City have announced that Nigerian striker Yakubu Aiyegbeni has left the club by mutual consent.
The 34-year-old joined the club in February in a deal that was to last until the end of the season but that relationship has been terminated mutually.
The striker played 3 times for Coventry but then suffered a hamstring injury against Swindon Town.
Yakubu scored 95 goals in the English top flight where he played for Everton, Blackburn, Middlesbrough and Portsmouth.
