Nigeria’s Electoral umpire, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has presented its five-year strategic plan to the Senate.
The Commission’s chairman, Professor Yakubu Mahmood presented this on Thursday.
While commending the leadership of the Senate for amending the 2010 electoral act, Mahmood said the Independent National Electoral Commission is ready to deploy full electronic technology in the conduct of the election in Nigeria starting with 2019
election.
Senate President Bukola Saraki also signed the upper chamber’s version of the amended law.
