The two candidates hoping to be France’s next president are are not leaving anything to chance as they make a final push for votes on the last day of campaigning before Sunday’s election.
Emmanuel Macron who polls predict will win the election is visiting the southern city of Rodez.
The Centrist candidate told French media earlier this Friday that he had already decided who his prime minister would be if elected, though would not name the person.
This is as his contender Marine Le pen faced a difficult time Thursday as a small group of around 50 protesters threw eggs at her as she arrived for a campaign event.
None of the eggs hit their target as Le Pen’s bodyguards covered the National Front leader’s head as she was hurried into the building after the incident.
