The South African government on Friday, deported 90 Nigerians for allegedly committing immigration-related offences.
The spokesman of the Lagos Airport Police Command, Joseph Alabi confirmed the development to newsmen in Lagos.
Alabi said the deportees landed at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos on Friday afternoon.
He said they were flown to Nigeria aboard a South African Airways aircraft from Johannesburg.
He revealed that they were deported for committing immigration-related offences.
South Africa had also on February the 28th sent 97 Nigerians back home for committing various offences. The deportees were made up of 95 males and two females.
