South Africa’s energy minister, Mmamaloko Kubayi, has proposed to the government, the need to build a new Refinery.
She explained that the current dependency on fuel imports, hurts economic progress.
According to her, public-private joint venture, was appropriate for the project.

The minister said details of the proposal would come in the third quarter of this year.
