Dayo Akinlaja (SAN) counsel to the Acting Chief Judge of Ondo state, Justice Tayo Osoba has filed a motion for extension of time for the memorandum of appearance in a suit filed by an Akure based lawyer, Femi Emodamori
Emodamori had filed a suit challenging the extension of the tenure of the acting chief judge
He described the extension of the tenure of the acting CJ as illegal and a breach of the nation’s constitution
At the last sitting before the trial judge, Justice Aderemi Adegoroye, there was a serious argument over change in appearance of counsel for the Acting CJ.
This forced the new counsel to the Acting CJ Dayo Akinlaja to a file a motion for appearance for Justice Osoba based on the objection of the human rights lawyer.
