Two aspirants will participate in the All progressives Congress primary election on Monday for the Osun West Senatorial district by-election.
The by-election slated to hold on July the 8th is to fill the post of the late Senator Isiaka Adeleke who died in April.
The two aspirants are the younger brother of the late senator Isiaka Adeleke, Ademola Adeleke and the state commissioner for Cabinet matters, Senator Mudashir Hussein.
Four had shown interest in the party’s ticket but only two showed up before the Sanusi Rikiji screening committee
The Osun state APC secretary, Rasak Salinshile told the committee that the late Isiaka Adeleke’s younger brother, Ademola Adeleke is not a registered member of the party in the state, a claim Adeleke described as untrue.
