The third edition of the Ambassador’s cup has kicked off in Lagos. The grassroots football competition is an initiative of Super Eagles and Fulham of England winger Sone Aluko.
The youth tourney is held in partnership with C.O.D united and it is aimed at encouraging a synergy between football and education.
Aluko is using the medium to give back to the society by providing young players with the platform to showcase their talents.
He wants to continually pass on the lessons which have defined his success as a professional footballer.

The best 11 players selected from the tournament will proceed to a football clinic where they will spotted by foreign scouts.
