The Emir of Mubi, His Royal Highness Alhaji Abubakar Isa-Ahmadu, made the call while receiving the delegation from Search for Common Ground in his palace.
He however commended the contributions of various Non Governmental Organisations particularly Search for Common ground in its peace building intervention which he claimed has been long awaited.
The royal father said involvement of the traditional institutions in security matter is a sure way out of the quagmire the nation is experiencing.
All the districts head in Mubi traditional council reassured safety of the Igbo, Yoruba and other Nigerians in their domain calling for peace among nationalities that made up of the nation.
The Adamawa State Coordinator for Search for Common Ground (Search), Bernard Basason explained that the current feeling of insecurity, collapse of local governance, and the humanitarian effects of the insurgency has
exacerbated socio-economic vulnerability and has torn the social fabric of the communities, thereby weakening their resilience and leaving them prone to recruitment and radicalization by Boko Haram.
