No fewer than three persons have been killed and many injured in a fresh communal clash that started on Sunday morning in Sardauna local government area of Taraba State.
The cause of the clash is not yet known, but locals say the violence is between the Kakas and Fulani ethnic groups.
They say fighting started after some youth took to the streets destroying property and smashing vehicles.
The spokesman of Taraba State Command of the Police, David Misal says the Commissioner of Police has led his men to the area to restore peace.
Only last week, some Fulani herdsmen protested at the Taraba House of Assembly, against the State’s anti-grazing law.
