Journalists were on Tuesday prevented from covering proceedings in the case between the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, IMN, and the army.
Security around the premises was top notch, as both police and military personnel were deployed to the area.
Members of the IMN popularly called the Shi’ites were brought from the Kaduna convict prison for testimonies and army spokesperson, Brigadier General Sani Usman was also cross examined.
Usman who appeared in mufti didn’t talk with newsmen, after he was drilled for several hours.
The judge presiding over the case appears to be giving it reasonable momentum, as the day’s proceedings lasted almost the whole day.
