South Korean President Moon Jae-in has told his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, that the situation on the Korean peninsula is complicated.
Moon says this is because of provocations by North Korea, a situation he believes could become unpredictable.
The leaders met on the sidelines of an economic summit, as international concerns grow over Pyongyang’s powerful nuclear test at the weekend.
