The Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL, Club, El Kanemi Warriors are planning to make Imama Amapakabo the highest paid coach on the domestic scene for the second straight season.
El-Kanemi is negotiating a deal to pay Amakpakabo N15m for one year with add-ons. The total package is reported in the region of 27 million Naira.
The Warriors are expected to unveil the Coach, who led Enugu Rangers to win the NPFL championship two seasons ago, in the coming days in Maiduguri.
The Assistant Coach of the Super Eagles was the best paid Manager in Nigeria last season when he signed a one year deal with Rangers after winning the League.
But since his sack the club has refused to pay him for wrongful dismissal as ordered by the League Management Company, LMC.
