Former Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini and Frank de Boer are the front runners for the Leicester City job, following the dismissal of Ranieri, who led the club to a fairytale Premier League title.
The Foxes are 17th this season.
Mancini, who spent a short spell on loan at Leicester as a player in 2001, is a Premier League title winning manager himself, having won it with Manchester City in 2012.
He has been out of work since leaving Inter Milan last summer.
Dutchman Frank de Boer, former Leicester managers Martin O’Neill and Nigel Pearson and Alan Pardew are some of the names linked to the job.
