The All Progressives Congress has passed a vote of confidence on President Muhammadu Buhari.
This was the resolution from the National Executive Council meeting held at the party’s headquarters in Abuja.
The party had postponed it’s NEC meeting several times, due to some challenges it faced with regards to some state chapters of the party .
After the closed door meeting, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara who briefed newsmen said a vote of confidence was passed on the party’s national chairman and the president, respectively.
Also at the meeting, the party’s activities in 2018 were also discussed, with emphasis on the fact that there’s no anointed candidate for 2019.
The meeting also focused on the party’s upcoming convention for which a mini-committee was set up, that’ll make consultations and arrive at a date.
The meeting witnessed the attendance of President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Senate President Bukola Saraki, Speaker Yakubu Dogara, State Governors, Senators, ministers and state chairmen of the party.
