The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun State now has a new Chairman.He is Honourable Sikirulai Ogundele.
Ogundele emerged unopposed with thirty other party executives of the party at a Congress held at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library auditorium, Abeokuta.
While admonishing members of the party to see themselves as one and work for the unity of the party, the South West Chairman of the Party, Eddy Olafeso who presided over the Congress said the National leadership of PDP is ready to reposition the political party.
On his part, the newly elected Chairman, Sikirulai Ogundele promised to work towards rebuilding the party in the state and bring back all aggrieved members.
He noted that the party will be set to wrestle power from All Progressives Congress come 2019.
