Some politicians in Ondo state have urged the Nigerian to give special attention to the problems being faced by the people of Niger Delta region following the decision of the members of the Niger Delta Avengers to resume hostilities in the region.
Speaking in an interview with TVC News, former member of the Ondo state House of Assembly Tayo Abidakun , urged the government to execute life changing projects in the oil producing communities in the country.
The former lawmaker believe that this would go along way in stemming the tide of militancy in the Niger Delta region..
On his part, a chieftain of the National Conscience Party, Abass Obayoriade said it will be a disaster for Nigeria if the avengers resume hostilities by attacking oil installations.
He said it is a bad signal for Nigeria that has just come out of recession.
