Students, and teachers in Kaduna state, have protested against government’s decision to sack 22,000 teachers in public primary and secondary schools in the state.
They were on the streets on Wednesday, with chants.
Organized labour in the state, has also added its voice to that of the children.
Security personnel, led by the state commissioner of police, Agyole Abeh seemed helpless, watching the juveniles throng the streets.
Abeh says they would ensure that the situation does not escalate.
