Roadblocks were set up on roads leading to delegation hotels and summit venues.
The annual APEC gathering is slated for November the 6th-11th, with leaders from the bloc’s 21 economies expected to meet at the Economic Leaders’ Meeting from November the 10th-11th.
Leaders and representatives from 21 member economies are expected to discuss issues on sustainable growth and prosperity in the Asia-Pacific region under the theme “Creating New Dynamism, Fostering a Shared Future.”
The APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting is a top-level meeting under the APEC institutional framework which provides policy direction for the regional bloc.
