The Adamawa State Police command has confirmed the death of 50 worshippers in an early morning suicide attack on a Mosque in ancient Mubi town.
The image maker of the Command, SP Abubakar Othman said 50 corpses and several wounded persons have been evacuated from the popular Shiwa Mosque, Angwar Medina in Yelwa quarters Mubi, a commercial nerve center of the area.
But an eyewitness said the death toll could be more than 70.
