The National Working Committee of the Advanced Peoples Democratic Alliance (APDA) has described the Nigerian government’s plan to create cattle colonies across the country as an inadequate solution to the farmers – herdsmen crises.
The party said if many states do not buy into the plan, it could lead to policy failure.
This observation was one of many resolutions reached at the end of the National Working Committee meeting of the party in Abuja.
The political party says ranching and grazing reserves remain the popular options canvassed by most agricultural experts, civil society groups and individuals.
