The outgoing Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Resident Electoral Commissioner in Ondo state, Mutiu Agboke has expressed dissatisfaction with the way politicians in the state have refused to request for the time table issued for the 2019 elections.
Agboke noted that no political party has approached the commission to collect the time-table, a development he said is not good for our democracy.
The outgoing REC disclosed this in his valedictory speech at a meeting with the staff of the commission.
He added that over three hundred and seventy thousand eligible voters in Ondo state have not collected their Permanent Voter cards (PVCs).
Agboke who had been transferred to Oyo state, said about forty thousand PVCs have been issued out in the last three months.
